Conscious Sustainability

In 2024, Bhuv revived its internship programme, giving young creatives the opportunity to explore the business of fashion across all departments—without immediate financial risk—preparing them for their own journeys. Bhuv prioritises conscious and sustainable practices:

  • Linen packaging instead of plastic
  • Reducing textile waste by using patterns instead of free-hand cutting
  • Storing beads in bottles and donating scrap fabrics to recycling initiatives

Through these efforts, Bhuv strengthens the Nigerian fashion ecosystem—supporting employment, preserving traditional craftsmanship, and contributing to exports—ensuring that African fashion remains relevant locally and globally.
